Baked Whitefish With Tomato Sauce

Total Time: 1 hr 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 6 ounces onions, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 medium green peppers, diced
  • chicken seasoning, mix
  • 3 medium tomatoes, crushed
  • 1 1/2 cups tomato paste
  • 1/2 small bay leaf
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 dash cayenne pepper
  • salt
  • 3 lbs fish, boned

Recipe

  • 1 in a nonstick skillet, cook onions to transparent.
  • 2 add green pepper and sprinkle on chicken seasoning, cook for 3 minutes.
  • 3 stir in remaining ingredients except fish; simmer for 20 minutes.
  • 4 place fish in baking dish; top with sauce.
  • 5 bake at 350 degrees for 40 - 45 minutes or until fish flakes with a fork.
