Baked Whitefish With Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

- 6 ounces onions, finely chopped
- 1 1/2 medium green peppers, diced
- chicken seasoning, mix
- 3 medium tomatoes, crushed
- 1 1/2 cups tomato paste
- 1/2 small bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 dash cayenne pepper
- salt
- 3 lbs fish, boned
Recipe
- 1 in a nonstick skillet, cook onions to transparent.
- 2 add green pepper and sprinkle on chicken seasoning, cook for 3 minutes.
- 3 stir in remaining ingredients except fish; simmer for 20 minutes.
- 4 place fish in baking dish; top with sauce.
- 5 bake at 350 degrees for 40 - 45 minutes or until fish flakes with a fork.
