Amanda's Birthday Salmon

Total Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 4 -5 slices fresh ginger (about 1/8 inch thick)
  • 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon green onion top, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 for sauce: whisk olive oil, orange juice and terriyaki sauce together in a saucepan.
  • 2 stir in ginger& green onions.
  • 3 bring to a boil and allow to reduce for 5 minutes.
  • 4 in a skillet heat olive oil& butter.
  • 5 when hot, add salmon and brown on each side.
  • 6 cook for about 3-4 minutes per side or until salmon starts to flake.
  • 7 add sauce, turning salmon to coat.
  • 8 cook for another 2 minutes.
  • 9 serve salmon with sauce.
