Amanda's Birthday Salmon

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- salt
- pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 4 -5 slices fresh ginger (about 1/8 inch thick)
- 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
- 1 tablespoon green onion top, chopped
Recipe
- 1 for sauce: whisk olive oil, orange juice and terriyaki sauce together in a saucepan.
- 2 stir in ginger& green onions.
- 3 bring to a boil and allow to reduce for 5 minutes.
- 4 in a skillet heat olive oil& butter.
- 5 when hot, add salmon and brown on each side.
- 6 cook for about 3-4 minutes per side or until salmon starts to flake.
- 7 add sauce, turning salmon to coat.
- 8 cook for another 2 minutes.
- 9 serve salmon with sauce.
