Cape Cod Barbequed Fish

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (3 lb) trout or 1 (3 lb) whitefish
  • 2 tablespoons onions, chopped
  • 3/4 cup catsup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons red hot sauce
  • 3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper

Recipe

  • 1 place fish in a greased shallow baking dish.
  • 2 brown onion lightly in fat.
  • 3 add catsup, brown sugar, cider vinegar, lemon juice, red hot sauce, worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  • 4 simmer for 5 minute.
  • 5 pour over fish.
  • 6 bake at 425* for 30 min or until fish is tender.
  • 7 serve on warm platter, garnish with parsley and lemon slices.
