Creamed Tuna

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup onion (diced)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon wine
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup frozen peas
  • 1/4 cup diced mushroom
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 can tuna (drained)

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter.
  • 2 stir in onions, mushrooms and garlic.
  • 3 sauté over medium heat until translucent.
  • 4 mix in flour.
  • 5 mix in wine, stir for a few seconds.
  • 6 add milk, peas, mozzarella and tuna.
  • 7 cook another 5 minutes or so until thickened.
  • 8 add salt and pepper to taste.
  • 9 serve over toast or pasta.
  • 10 (i prefer to serve this with homemade gnocchi).
