Border-style Shrimp

Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups chopped onions
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 1/2 lbs medium shrimp, peeled deveined
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green onion
Recipe
- 1 heat a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat. add onion, saute 3 minutes.
- 2 add cumin, chili powder, shrimp, and garlic, saute 4 minutes.
- 3 remove from heat, and add butter, salt, and hot sauce.
- 4 stir until butter melts.
- 5 stir in juice and green onions.
