Cream Of Tuna

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 tablespoons margarine
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 (15 ounce) can mixed vegetables
  • 1 (12 ounce) can tuna
  • 4 cups uncooked rice

Recipe

  • 1 boil 4 cups of water, add rice, and set aside.
  • 2 drain tuna and vegetables and set aside.
  • 3 in medium sauce pan, melt margerine over medium heat.
  • 4 once melted add flour, salt, and pepper. stir together until a paste is formed.
  • 5 with a wire whisk, add milk. stir regularly until sauce is thickened.
  • 6 when sauce is at desired consistency, add vegetables and tuna.
  • 7 serve sauce over rice and enjoy.
