Carolina Grilled Shrimp

Ingredients

- 4 (12 inch) wooden skewers
- 1 lb unpeeled jumbo raw shrimp (16/20 count)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
Recipe
- 1 soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes.
- 2 peel shrimp, devein. thread shrimp onto skewers. place in a 13x9" baking dish.
- 3 whisk together olive oil and next 5 ingredients in a a bowl; pour over shrimp. cover and chill for 20 minutes. remove shrimp from marinade and discard marinade.
- 4 preheat grill to 350 to 400. grill shrimp, covered with grill lid, 2-3 minutes on each side or just until shrimp are pink. serve immediately.
