Creamy Shrimp Fettuccine

Ingredients

- 1 lb fettuccine
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup wine
- 5 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
- black pepper (20 grinds)
- 1 lb peeled deveined shrimp
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
- extra virgin olive oil
Recipe
- 1 cook fettuccini in large pot of boiling, salted water until al dente, about 7 minutes.
- 2 toss pasta with some oil to keep it from sticking while you make the sauce.
- 3 combine cream, wine, garlic and black pepper in large skillet and bring to simmer over high heat.
- 4 reduce heat to medium and simmer 7 to 10 minutes.
- 5 add shrimp and cook, 4 to 5 minutes.
- 6 toss sauce with pasta and chopped parsley.
