Ingredients

- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 3/4 cup clam juice
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup minced clams
Recipe
- 1 beat together egg, milk and clam juice.
- 2 sift together flour, baking soad, cream of tartar, slat and baking powder.
- 3 add dry ingredients to wet and mix well.
- 4 fold in clams.
- 5 drop by spoonfuls into 400 degree oil and fry until golden brown.
- 6 drain on paper towels and serve hot.
