Clam Chowder

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 3 (6 1/2 ounce) cans minced clams
  • 6 medium potatoes
  • 3 carrots
  • 1/2 bunch fresh parsley
  • 3 cups half-and-half
  • pepper
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 medium onion

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter in large pot.
  • 2 dice onions and sauté.
  • 3 drain juice from clams into butter.
  • 4 dice carrots and add to pot let simmer.
  • 5 peel and cut up potatoes in to 1/4-inch pieces add to pot.
  • 6 finely cut parsley and add to pot.
  • 7 when potatoes and carrots are soft rinse clams and cook for 5 minutes.
  • 8 add half-and-half and cook through.
  • 9 add pepper for taste.
