Canned Fish Loaf

Ingredients
- 1 (14 3/4 ounce) can salmon or 1 (14 3/4 ounce) can mackerel, undrained
- 1 cup crushed soda cracker crumbs (about 24)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup onion, chopped or diced
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon crushed basil
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 deg f.
- 2 in a medium sized mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, and mix thoroughly.
- 3 press mixture into a lightly greased 9x5 loaf pan.
- 4 bake for 45 minutes or until done.
- 5 let stand 10 minutes before attempting to slice.
