Clam Fritters

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 pint clam
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 3/4 cups flour, all-purpose
  • 1 teaspoon parsley, chopped
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 teaspoons onions, grated

Recipe

  • 1 drain clams and chop.
  • 2 combine dry ingredients.
  • 3 combine eggs, milk, onion, butter, and clams.
  • 4 combine with dry ingredients and stir until smooth.
  • 5 drop batter by using teaspoonsful into hot shortening at 350 degrees f and fry for 3 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • 6 drain on absorbent paper.
