Clam Fritters

Ingredients

- 1 pint clam
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 3/4 cups flour, all-purpose
- 1 teaspoon parsley, chopped
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 teaspoons onions, grated
Recipe
- 1 drain clams and chop.
- 2 combine dry ingredients.
- 3 combine eggs, milk, onion, butter, and clams.
- 4 combine with dry ingredients and stir until smooth.
- 5 drop batter by using teaspoonsful into hot shortening at 350 degrees f and fry for 3 minutes, or until golden brown.
- 6 drain on absorbent paper.
