Citrus Scallops (#2)

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 2 lbs scallops
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce (or to taste)
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 lime, thinly sliced

Recipe

  • 1 place scallops in oil in large skillet until opaque and tender.
  • 2 place in a deep glass bowl, layering them with the garlic and onion.
  • 3 combine remaining ingredients and pour over scallops.
  • 4 cover and chill for up to 24 hours, stirring occasionally.
