Chili Bean Sauce Tilapia

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon chili bean paste
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 5 ounces unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 -6 ounces tilapia fillets
  • 1/2 tablespoon flour
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 combine chili bean paste and vinegar in a saucepan and bring to a boil and cook until reduced by half.
  • 2 remove from the heat and add butter stirring until well blended.
  • 3 heat a frying pan over medium high heat and add the olive oil.
  • 4 sprinkle both sides of the tilapia fillets with flour and salt and pepper to taste.
  • 5 saute until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.
  • 6 place tilapia on plates and spoon the sauce over the fillets.
