Barbecued Lobster Tails

Total Time: 22 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 12 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 teaspoon salt substitute
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 (10 ounce) lobster tails, thawed

Recipe

  • 1 split the tails lengthwise with a large knife.
  • 2 thoroughly mix all the other ingredients.
  • 3 brush meat side of tail with marinade.
  • 4 place the tails meat side down over medium coals and grill for 5-6 minutes.
  • 5 turn over lobster and cook for another 5-6 minutes, brushing often with the remaining marinade.
  • 6 do not overcook- lobster is done when it is opaque and firm to the touch.
  • 7 serve with drawn butter and hunks of fresh lemon.
  • 8 drool.
