Chicken With Basil And Red Peppers

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 6 garlic cloves (cut into thin slices)
  • 4 chopped scallions
  • 1 red bell pepper (seeded and diced)
  • 1 lb chicken breast (diced)
  • 3 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 2 teaspoons dark soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 24 thai basil

Recipe

  • 1 heat oil in wok or frying pan over medium heat.
  • 2 add garlic, scallions, red pepper and stir fry 5 minutes.
  • 3 add chicken and cook until done.
  • 4 stir in fish sauce, soy sauce, and sugar and cook until sauce begins to become thick (about 5-10 minutes).
  • 5 stir in basil leaves and cook 5 minutes or just until leaves are wilted.
  • 6 garnish with fresh basil if desired and enjoy.
