Beer Boiled Shrimp

Total Time: 8 mins Preparation Time: 3 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 lbs unshelled large raw shrimp (deheaded)
  • 2 (12 ounce) cans light beer
  • 2 tablespoons crab boil seasoning

Recipe

  • 1 in a large pot, bring beer to a boil with seasoning.
  • 2 stir in shrimp and cover.
  • 3 return to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • 4 turn heat off and leave shrimp in hot beer for a few more minutes (at least 3 minutes).
  • 5 drain shrimp and serve immediately.
  • 6 serve with lemon wedges and cocktail sauce.
