Beer Batter Shrimp

Total Time: 33 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 3 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 lbs deheaded peeled shrimp (leave tail on for dipping)
  • 1 (12 ounce) can light beer
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • oil (for deep frying)

Recipe

  • 1 pour beer in a mixing bowl.
  • 2 add flour, salt and paprika.
  • 3 whisk together until mixture is light and frothy.
  • 4 add shrimp to beer mixture and stir.
  • 5 remove shrimp, one at a time, and place in oil and deep fry.
  • 6 drain on paper towels.
