Chili Scallop And Shrimp Kebabs

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon chili bean sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 lbs large raw shrimp
- 8 ounces scallops
Recipe
- 1 combine the crushed garlic, ginger, sesame oil, chili bean sauce, soy sauce, tomato paste, sugar and lemon juice.
- 2 shell shrimp and devein, leaving tail shells on.
- 3 clean the scallops.
- 4 add the shrimp and scallops to the marinade.
- 5 cover and marinate for 10-15 minutes.
- 6 skewer shrimp and scallops on skewers. (if using wooden skewers make sure to soak in water for about 30 minutes).
- 7 cook on a preheated lightly oiled barbecue grill for 4 minutes each side. baste with the remaining marinade during cooking.
