Celery Shrimp Bisque

Ingredients
- 2 cups peeled diced potatoes
- 2 cups chopped celery
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 4 cups half-and-half
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 lb medium shrimp, cleaned
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/4 cup dry sherry
Recipe
- 1 combine first 6 ingredients in a large dutch oven.
- 2 bring to a boil, cover and simmer 10 minutes.
- 3 mix flour and half-and-half in small bowl.
- 4 add to potatoes, stirring well.
- 5 add shrimp.
- 6 add butter and celery salt.
- 7 cook on medium until thick and bubbly.
- 8 stir in sherry.
