- 4 fish fillets
- cornflour
- 2 cups plain flour
- salt and pepper
- 10 1/2 fluid ounces beer
- oil, for deep-frying
Recipe
- 1 dust fish fillets with cornflour.
- 2 mix flour, salt and pepper.
- 3 add beer gradually, stirring well until smooth.
- 4 dip the fish fillets into batter.
- 5 cook in hot oil until golden brown.
- 6 drain on absorbent paper.
- 7 serve with lemon wedges, tartare sauce and hot chips.
