Aussie Beer Batter Fish

Total Time: 11 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 6 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 fish fillets
  • cornflour
  • 2 cups plain flour
  • salt and pepper
  • 10 1/2 fluid ounces beer
  • oil, for deep-frying

Recipe

  • 1 dust fish fillets with cornflour.
  • 2 mix flour, salt and pepper.
  • 3 add beer gradually, stirring well until smooth.
  • 4 dip the fish fillets into batter.
  • 5 cook in hot oil until golden brown.
  • 6 drain on absorbent paper.
  • 7 serve with lemon wedges, tartare sauce and hot chips.
