Cajun Fettuccini

Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3/4 cup smoked sausage, sliced
- 12 medium shrimp (30-35 per pound)
- 2 teaspoons fresh garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoons dry sherry
- 1/3 cup half-and-half
- 1/3 cup chicken stock
- 1/4 cup scallion, chopped
- 2/3 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- 3 cups fettuccine pasta, cooked
Recipe
- 1 drizzle oil in the pan.
- 2 saute the smoked sausage, shrimp, and minced garlic. add the cayenne pepper.
- 3 deglaze the pan with the sherry.
- 4 then add and heat up the half-and-half, and chicken stock.
- 5 stir in the scallions, and then add the parmesan cheese.
- 6 serve over the cooked fettuccini.
