Cajun Fettuccini

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3/4 cup smoked sausage, sliced
  • 12 medium shrimp (30-35 per pound)
  • 2 teaspoons fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons dry sherry
  • 1/3 cup half-and-half
  • 1/3 cup chicken stock
  • 1/4 cup scallion, chopped
  • 2/3 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 3 cups fettuccine pasta, cooked

Recipe

  • 1 drizzle oil in the pan.
  • 2 saute the smoked sausage, shrimp, and minced garlic. add the cayenne pepper.
  • 3 deglaze the pan with the sherry.
  • 4 then add and heat up the half-and-half, and chicken stock.
  • 5 stir in the scallions, and then add the parmesan cheese.
  • 6 serve over the cooked fettuccini.
  • 7 enjoy!
