Bailey's Bouillabaisse (fish Stew)

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 9
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 cups celery, diced
  • 3 potatoes, diced
  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups skim milk
  • 1 1/2 lbs cod or 1 1/2 lbs flounder fillets
  • 2 cups broccoli, diced
  • 2 cups cauliflower, diced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil

Recipe

  • 1 cook the onion, celery, and potatoes in the water for 10 minutes.
  • 2 mix a little milk with the flour to form a soupy paste and set aside.
  • 3 add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
  • 4 add the flour mixture, stirring constantly.
  • 5 simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
