Achy Breaky Shrimpy Bakey

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb shrimp (peel & devein)
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (fine & dry, try panko for more crunch)
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons dry sherry
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, maybe less
  • parsley (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 put shrimp in a baking pan.
  • 2 in a bowl combine the butter, bread crumbs, cheese, salt, cayenne, lime juice, and sherry.
  • 3 sprinkle crumb mixture over shrimp.
  • 4 bake at 325° for 25 minutes, or until shrimp is cooked and the topping is goldeny brown.
  • 5 also good as a starter, but very rich.
