Cajun Fish

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 1 (10 ounce) can tomato soup
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 1 lb firm fish fillet (cod, haddock, or halibut)

Recipe

  • 1 in medium skillet over medium heat, heat oil. add oregano. add soup, water, garlic powder, black pepper, and red pepper. heat to a boil.
  • 2 place fish in soup mixture. reduce heat to low. cover and cook 5 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. serve with rice if desired.
