Baked Fish Sticks With Wasabi Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

- 2 lbs tilapia fillets, cut into fish stick sized strips
- 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg, slightly beaten with 1 tbs water
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon wasabi paste
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon honey mustard
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- salt
- pepper
Recipe
- 1 place egg wash in a shallow bowl and season with salt and pepper.
- 2 place panko crumbs in a second small bowl and season with salt and pepper.
- 3 dip each fish stick into the egg and then the panko crumb mixture. gently shake off excess. i like to use one hand for wet and another hand for dry.
- 4 bake in a 475 degree oven for 12-15 minutes or until brown and crispy.
- 5 mix together mayonnaise, parsley, lemon juice, wasabi, olive oil, mustard, lemon zest, and season with salt and pepper.
- 6 serve fish sticks with the dipping sauce.
