Bacon And Spinach Quiche

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 9 inches unbaked pie crusts
  • 4 center-cut bacon
  • 3 large eggs

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350.
  • 2 mix flour and cheese together separately.
  • 3 lightly beat eggs, milk and pepper.
  • 4 chop spinach into pieces about 1-2 inches and mix into eggs.
  • 5 pour cheese and flour into the egg and spinach mixture, lightly mixing as you add it.
  • 6 this is easy, like making an omelet. you can add more ingredients, like adding onions, fresh garlic, tomato's (on top last 5 min of cooking), top with cornflakes for added sweetness. use low fat or non-fat milk and cheese (my preferred method). additional meats; sausage, chicken, lamb, fish, etc -- just remember to precook all meats. have fun and don't be afraid to make it your own!
  • 7 pour your ingredients into the pie crust, top with bacon and back in the oven for 60 minutes or until quiche has risen and is set!
