Baked Trout

Total Time: 6 hrs 30 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 6 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 lbs trout
  • 12 slices bacon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 clean trout.
  • 2 sprinkle inside with salt pepper.
  • 3 place 6 strips of bacon on bottom of pan.
  • 4 place fish on top of bacon.
  • 5 lay 6 strips of bacon over the fish.
  • 6 put a cover on the dish and bake at 250 degrees fahrenheit for 6 hours.
  • 7 at the end the bones will be soft like canned salmon. a 2 lb. fish requires only 3 hours baking.
