Baked Shrimp

Ingredients

- 16 large shrimp, peeled and deveined leaving tails on, if desired
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 shallot, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1/3 cup dry sherry
- salt
- pepper
- 1/3 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter
Recipe
- 1 melt the butter on low.
- 2 when butter is melted, squeeze in all 3 cloves of garlic.
- 3 saute gently, add chopped shallot.
- 4 saute until shallot is transparent, season with salt and pepper.
- 5 add sherry and continue to cook about 3 minutes more.
- 6 arrange shrimp in an oven proof dish.
- 7 pour mixture over shrimp.
- 8 melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter.
- 9 when melted, stir in the panko breadcrumbs.
- 10 stir until all crumbs are coated with butter.
- 11 sprinkle evenly over shrimp.
- 12 bake in a 425 degree oven 10 minutes.
- 13 serve immediately.
- 14 goes well with rice.
