Cod Puffs

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 lbs cod fish fillets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • lemon wedge
  • chili sauce or seafood cocktail sauce
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • 2 cut fillets into 1-inch strips.
  • 3 combine flour, water, and baking powder.
  • 4 beat with electric mixer until smooth.
  • 5 with tongs, dip fish pieces in batter allowing excess to drain off.
  • 6 allow to dry on wax paper before baking.
  • 7 bake cod puffs in a covered dish for 5 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
  • 8 serve with lemon wedges and tomato chili sauce or cocktail sauce.
