Ingredients

- 2 lbs cod fish fillets
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- lemon wedge
- chili sauce or seafood cocktail sauce
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- 2 cut fillets into 1-inch strips.
- 3 combine flour, water, and baking powder.
- 4 beat with electric mixer until smooth.
- 5 with tongs, dip fish pieces in batter allowing excess to drain off.
- 6 allow to dry on wax paper before baking.
- 7 bake cod puffs in a covered dish for 5 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
- 8 serve with lemon wedges and tomato chili sauce or cocktail sauce.
